Dazzling December!!!

Happy December!! I took a quiz on facebook asking what Beyonce video are you, and I got "Pretty Hurts" which I found to be pretty ironic.  When I was in second grade I won a cotillion, and in high school I won Miss Black and Silver ,Miss Performing Arts,Most Talented,Best dancer, and was nominated for Most Attractive. I ran for miss 10th grade, but I lost. This is one of Beyonce's more profound songs, and I really love the message. Since its the last month of the year, and were going through such dark times I feel like everyone should take a moment to just reflect. Behind the titles and awards lies one simple question, and that is are you truly happy with yourself? Not all of the accomplishments in the world can take up for truly being in love with yourself. The facade and masquerade can only last for so long before the illusion is shattered and youre left with the task of picking up the pieces to form a real picture of who you really are. The more you know who truly are then the more you can be happy. Pretty doesnt have to hurt.
