Thats what she said
During my freshmen year in high school I developed an electric attraction to this sophomore that was a Gemini. He was in a relationship with another sophomore, a Sagittarius. I had every intention on respecting this boundary, but somehow my name came up in conversation over the phone one night, and the next thing I know the Sagittarius was approaching me about the situation at school. Although she was very civilized in her demeanor the two times she approached me I remember feeling very belligerent towards her. I felt like her problem was definitely with him and not me and I told her the second time she approached me that this would be the last time I had a conversation with her about it. In retrospect I appreciate her being woman enough to come and talk to me. When I was a junior my best guy friend, who is also a Gemini, had a girlfriend that was a Leo. Her bestfriend, a Libra, called me one evening to confront me about a vicious rumor spreading that I had slept with the Leo's boyfriend. I was appalled because in this particular situation I had also developed a relationship with both the Libra and the Leo and their group of friends. I immediately called the Leo to lay the ghost to rest and rectify the situation. It is so very important for us women to communicate in tense situations like this. Its so easy to think that the problem lies with the men and that is where the significant others contention lies. There is some merit and truth to that, but I don't think we as women realize the power we give men when we don't take the time out to talk to each other. We give them the upper hand to allow the situation to develop into all kinds of madness that we all know situations can spread into when the men have the power. We must continuously reclaim our thrones. The man is the head, but the women are the neck. Without the neck the head doesn't know if its going left, right, or straight. Do you know in African spirituality that when the priest decides he wants another wife it is his first wife that must approve of any woman that comes after her? It doesn't matter how confusing or upsetting the third party situation has become you must remember that you have all the power! Instead of putting that woman under your foot and deeming her all kinds of trifling bitches and hoes you must love her and talk to her. Men do all kinds of things. They say things they don't mean. They have all kinds of women in their life for different reasons. Its so very possible that the reality of the situation and the conclusion that the other woman has come to differ from each other because both women have been putting their trust in the man instead of reaching out to one another and getting to the bottom of the situation by claiming their birthright prize of truth. Take your power back! Reclaim your throne! We must love each other. We must respect one another. We must communicate. Its situations like these that separate the Goddesses from the peasants. It is up to you. Queens understand Queens and you my dear, despite what that mans behavior has led you to believe, are royalty. If anyone disagrees with what Ive posted just tell em that's what she said! =)
