When Doves Cry

If you want to heal yourself and achieve the results you want to attain in love you have to go back to the first two relationships that influenced your foundations, and thats your mother and father.  One of the factors i could really relate to when Beyonce released the masterpiece "Lemonade" is how she had to heal from her daddy/ mother issues, and ancestral wounds being passed down from generation to generation. I was raised in a single parent home and had an inconsistent relationship with my father. I attracted relationships with men that was more of the same. They would be loving and fulfilling yet fleeting. My mother is an enchanting mermaid that would swim from one toxic man to another without giving her heart time to heal in between affairs only to be disappointed when the affair came crashing down among the shores. She would refuse to acknowledge the universal truth that you are the constant factor in any situation, and that to change our life we must change ourself.  This taught me responsibility and forgiveness. Its important to realize that our parents are entities like ourselves having a human experience. They have flaws, failures, fears, dreams, and aspirations just like us. Before they were given the duty of being roles models to their children they were just people first.  You are responsible for creating the types of situations you want to experience in your world and that includes your relationships. You are responsible for putting pen to paper to formulate the legacy you want to leave behind in romance. Be painstakingly clear and unapologetic in your request of how you want your experience with a significant other to feel, look, and be. Free yourself from ancestral wounds and patterns that have clouded your true reflection. Heal your triggers of self- sabotage, low self-esteem,and self doubt. The time is now. Be responsible.Forgive.

And like the purple one says, " Dont cry."
