I love this Chrisette Michele song because she is being very detail oriented in describing what kind of love she is looking for. She describes a love that is curated around the values of love, commitment, and marriage. I believe women who are dating to marry like myself should be very lucid in the type of experience they are interested in having in romance. Mermaids should get in the habit of asking themselves " Would the love of my life treat me this way? Is this the way the love of my life make me feel? Are the experiences I have been having with this man aligned with my romantic dream life?"  in the words of chrisette Michele is this " lets take two golden bands, and lets walk down the aisle love?" I feel like being cognizant of how you want your romantic commitment to look, feel, be , and manifest can be helpful in clarifying if its a forever thing.
