What have you done for me lately?

I recently had a conversation with my aunt about the trials and tribulations of dating in today's age. She asked me what I thought was the hardest part about dating today? I didn't know where to start. I think the art of dating has been endangered. Many of todays women find themselves in situations where men want to do the bare minimum for the maximum benefit. I often come across men who want to engage sexually before they've made any due diligence that warrants the act. There are a plethora of other factors that go along with this such as men expecting you to go dutch with them on dates and drive to them, etc, etc. Its a catastrophe. Don't be afraid to ask " What have you done for me lately?" These men want our time, energy, sex, intimacy, and attention for the bargain price of next to nothing, and it is quite alright to challenge this ideal. Make him work for it. It is quite alright to have standards. If you don't stand for something youll fall for anything. Put these men through the ringer and instead of asking how are you contributing to his life ask how he makes you feel and what are the benefits to having him in your life.Dn't give to these men. Don't have sex with these men if youre expecting to get a long term commitment or marriage. The truth of the matter is men like things they have to work for. They like rewards, and being apart of your life is the blessing. Point blank period. That's the bottom line for the situation. Its also important to not be blindsighted and keep the faith. For every man asking you to pull up on him or smoke with him or simply compromise your standards there is a man willing to put in the work to for your happiness to become the focal point. Men like making you happy. Feminine energy is about less doing and more being while learning to receive. I also think its important not to take this personal and as areflection of your prowess in love. Just because he isn't willing to step up to the plate and be the man you deserve doesn't make you any less of a Goddess in love. If he cant meet you halfway and accommodate you with the ideals that make things move to the next level that's his failure and loss. Continue being nice for what to these niggas and let the Goddess life you so deserve manifest and the young God who doesn't mind being an asset to the life you've created will manifest himself.
