Its National Women's Month, and Im feeling obliged to honor the legendary, and inconquerable Debbie Allen. I had the privilege to be accepted into the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive on a partial scholarship in 2008, and returned later that year to perform as a " sister" in Debbie Allen's self directed and written musical " Brothers of the Knight". Debbis Allen has been part of legendary artistic projects like Fame, Sweet Charity, and the The Cosby Show. I posted a clip of her performing in the musical West Side Story as it is her work in theare and Broadway that I admire most. Debbie Allen is one of our legends that is till living, and i want to give her her flowers while she can still smell them this Women's Month. All my love Ms. Allen and thank you for everything youve done for me!
