You, Me, and God
Doechii's musical project, " Alligator Bites Never Heal" has had such a positive impact on me that I decided to visit some more of her art. I listened to her project, " Oh The Places You'll Go", and the track " God" really stood out to me, and touched me spiritually. In her monologue she speaks about how God is an infinite, limitless being full of blessings that are always available to us. I love this track. She poignantly and eloquently flows about how God has numerous blessings, money, houses, ideas, talents, lovers, friends and resources, and about how we have access to this abundance. She mentions that if she has access to the Supreme Being and the cornucopia of things God can provide, so does everyone else. I also love how she reminds herself that another person receiving God's favor doesn't take anything away from you because there are more than enough blessings for everyone to be fulfilled. Im not sure if Doechii herself even realizes how powerful of an affirmation this musical creation really is. God doesn't forget about us. He provides for us and blesses us accordingly, and another person's success has absolutely nothing to do with yours. God is a way maker, miracle achiever, dream conqueror, and love provider. He is the greatest artist in the world, and our belief in that power allows us to experience the artistic masterpiece that he wants to make of our life. If you feel threatened or uncomfortable about another person's blessing you have lost faith in God, the greatest artist on Earth, Because if God is an energy of abundance and prosperity, and you are an extension of God, then you too are abundant and prosperous because you are made in his image. If you feel or think otherwise about God and his blessings then you have lost perspective on just how powerful his magnanimity is and reaches. If God is limitless in what he can provide for us, we are also limitless in what we can positively experience from him. We are infinitely blessed, born prosperous and abundant because God is prosperous and abundant, and we are made in his creation. Listen to this piece of amazing artwork when you get a chance and hopefully you feel as inspired and uplifted as I did upon hearing it! Ase
