All the Single Ladies!
I had no idea how much the show " Sex and the City" influenced me until I started dating and talking about my experiences in love. My desire to become the African American Carrie Bradshaw just summarizes my desire to live a life of luxury, love, beauty, art, glamour, friendship, travel, and fashion. Im in the midst of pursuing an associates degree in journalism and I cant think of anyone better that Id like my career and life to emulate. Im celebrating Carrie Bradshaw this National Women's Month. I know some women probably read my blog and wonder what gives me the right to share my opinion. Ive made all of the mistakes you can think of in romance and Ive gained massive insight and wisdom from my mistakes, and I know there is another mermaid out there on her journey like me who needs my perspectives. Im just another single girl on her journey bringing other women on the journey with me just like Carrie Bradshaw. Carrie Bradshaw inspired women to live their best lives in all aspects. Whether it be through buying the pair of shoes because you deserve it, ordering the extra drink, or not settling for just sex and really having butterflies and someone see you as "the one" , Carrie Bradshaw encouraged women to seek to have fun and live life to the fullest. My message is similar. I propose a toast to love and the mermaid Carrie Bradshaw this Women's Month! Bisous!
